Who is Redwines Garage?

The “Redwines Garage” company or group or concern (“we”) is a vehicle to post or document some of our projects. Our website address is https://redwinesgarage.com .

This Redwines Garage website (the “site”) (“the site”) (“the website”) is also a place to post or document some of our projects, plus additionally to provide additional commentary, user information, cautions, warnings, caveats, limitations, and informed consent stipulations for use.

We create small-in-scope custom electronic and/or software solutions for ourselves or for others.

As a tiny concern whose only purpose is to post or document small projects, Redwines Garage has absolutely zero interest in collecting your (or anyone else’s) personal information. Any information collected is purely incidental, due to our usage of standard Web tools such as WordPress and its plug-ins, plus any software run by our Internet Service Provider (ISP) firms and Web hosting firms that we use.

What happens to comments left on this website?

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

However, while Redwines Garage’s website’s underlying software (including, but not limited to, WordPress and its plug-ins) is believed to be reasonably secure, Redwines Garage, because it is not the author of said website software, cannot make any absolute guarantees regarding your personal data.

What happens to media left on this website?

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images, audio, movies, or other media with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from such postings on the website.

How does this website use cookies?
